We were approached by Kettles Talent Networks, Bangalore, to develop the beautiful neon lit festive backgrounds for the Nalli Silks Diwali campaign. Every year for Diwali, Nalli Silks works on a unique campaign and this year we were approached to develop the backgrounds and do the composition of the photographed images of talent onto these created backplates. The job required us to create 3 unique spaces, one is a living room, another a room with a balcony and one backyard garden. The architectural elements like walls, grills, railings, stairs etc. doubled up as neon lights through which the space had to be lit. We then explored angles within these 3 spaces to create an entire campaign of 12 images.
For each layout we were provided two main colours for the neon shades that we had to combine in a way to create the gradation of light in the space. The task was interesting and challenging with lot of details, architectural elements, vegetation etc. to be first created and then lit in this unique manner. We are happy to showcase this wonderful project.
